Whether you’re chasing a personal best, training for your first event, or simply enjoy having a trot, the Stronger Stride Podcast offers thoughtful conversations, practical insights, and a fresh perspective on all things running.

Sophie Lane

Exercise Physiologist & Running Coach

Sophie is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Athletics Australia Run Coach & ASCA Strength & Conditioning Coach.

She has worked at a number of physio clinics, gyms and coaching companies with the desire to learn from others in the industry. More recently, in mid-2026, she has taken on her own coaching business, Stride Performance, full time.

Her personal running journey has been one that’s focussed more on running further, rather than faster. With over 10 ultra-marathons under her belt, she enjoys the adventure of running all day long.

Still dabbling in road running, she will lace up for Sydney Marathon this year with plans to return to the backyard ultra scene in 2027.
